No one has ever accused the Audi RS7 of being slow. With its 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8, making 570 hp, the RS7 is capable of 0-60 mph in around 3.7 seconds. That makes it very, very fast. However, if you want some extra power, the RS7’s blown-V8 is very easy to tune up to much more power, with nothing more than an ECU flash and some simple bolt-ons. In this video, we see just how much faster it can be, as a stock RS7 is compared directly with a 750 hp version.

In this new video from AutoTopNL, we get to see, from the view of the gauges, the stock Audi RS7 up top and the 750 hp one on the bottom. At the start, it actually seems like the top one jumped the launch a bit quicker, but these two acceleration runs were likely recorded separately, so the timing is probably not perfectly accurate. However, it’s impressive just how fast both cars accelerate to about 150 km/h (93 mph).

After about 200 km/h (124 mph), though, it’s not even close. The tuned car just keeps on pulling, with brutal acceleration well after 220 km/h. The stock car runs out of puff at 252 km/h (156 mph) but at that point, the tuned Audi RS7 is at 286 km/h (177 mph) and still pulling. The tuned car ends up running past 325 km/h (201 mph), where the speedo runs out of room.

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but 200 mph is seriously fast. Car manufacturers work tirelessly to make their performance cars capable of 200 mph. It’s really difficult to do. But this tuned Audi RS7 is capable of doing it remarkably easily. At that speed, the RS7 is capable of crossing the length of an American football field in one (!) second. One.

So, yes, the stock Audi RS7 is very fast and it doesn’t need any tuning to be fun. However, if you do tune it, you’re in for something crazy.
