Next week, the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show will kick off an Audi will be on site to show off quite a lot of new metal. Everything from high-performance gasoline cars to funky electric concepts will be at the Audi stand in Frankfurt. So what can we expect to see?
To really kick things off, the Audi RS7 Sportback will make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This will be the first time anyone outside Audi will be seeing it and it will be on hand for journalists and fans alike to see in the flesh. We don’t know too much about the RS7, apart from what it will look like, but we do know that it’s likely to have the same powertrain as the newly revealed Audi RS6 Avant. So expect a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 591 hp and 590 lb-ft.
Along with the RS7 Sportback, the Audi AI:TRAIL Concept will also make its worldwide debut. So far we’ve only seen a teaser image of the AI:TRAIL and it seems to be some sort of rugged, all-terrain EV that will likely have some autonomous technology. It’s an interesting an unique concept, so we’re excited to see it.
On top of those all-new cars that will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, there will be some cars we’ve only seen on the internet and not in the flesh. For instance, the facelifted Audi Q7 and A4 will be on hand, showing off their new styling and interior upgrades.
The big one, though, is going to be the Audi RS6 Avant. While some journalists had the chance to see the RS6 in person, most haven’t. So this is a big chance for us to get up close and personal with it and bring some great photos and videos of it. More importantly, it’s going to be a chance for customers and fans to see it in the flesh, sit in it and revel in the fact that it’s going to be a worldwide car for the first-time ever.
There will also be the Audi A1 Citycarver, which is a little oddball of a car, and the Q3 Sportback. We’ll also be able to see the new Audi e-tron FE06 Formula E race car, which looks awesome. So the Frankfurt Motor Show will be filled with new and interesting Audis. Next week can’t come soon enough.
